  1. First of all i'd like to say well done on the processing of the manaia I thought it was really well done. One thing you could make better about it is showing a picture of the flatners/rollers. I also liked how you explained what was easy about the carving and what was hard.

  2. Hi Summer, I really like your slideshow about Toi Whakairo or Art Carving. I didn’t think it was that hard to do carving I thought it would be fun and easy. How long did it take you to carve your design? Keep up the awesome work!!

  3. Kia Ora Summer,
My name is Alexis and I go to Paihia School. Your presentation is really awesome. Is it hard to make Manaia? I think that it is very interesting how you make the Manaia. Keep up the good work.

  4. Hi Summer, I’m Brodi from Paihia School. Your slideshow is really cool. I have never carved with a lino cutter before but it looks really cool. Is a line cutter sharp? When you finished your art it looked really cool. Keep up the good work.

  9. HI Summer and Keisha,
I am a year 6 student from Paihia school in Te Ngahere. I really like your carving that you and Keisha did. I think it’s really cool and creative. How long did it take you two to do that carving?
