Electricity

Electricity

What is electricity?
Electricity is a type of powerful energy. Like lighting electricity can go from one place to another. There are two types of electricity such as static electricity and current electricity. Static electricity is when electricity is gathered in one place. Current electricity is when the electricity moves from one place to another.

What are the two main types of electricity?
The two main types of electricity are static and current electricity. Objects that have current electricity often are powered by batteries or electricity from wires that are connected to a power station. Static electricity is created when materials are rubbed together which creates a shock. For example when you are on a trampoline and you are wearing socks the two materials rub together creating static electricity. Which then gives you a shock when you touch metal.

What is an electrical circuit?

An electrical circuit is basically a pathway created with wires. Batteries or power sources gives the strength to make the electrons move. Then when the electrons get to a device like your computer they give it the strength and power to make it work.
